Trip to Europe: Calculate the Expenses
TIPS- Some friends have asked us about how much money we need when traveling to Europe. Of course we can't just put a number right away. The amount of funds for this one purpose varies widely and depends on many aspects. The range between the lowest and highest face values can be very long.

Calculating Travel Budget

But maybe we can provide an overview for those who want to travel alone, namely planning their own vacation and taking care of everything themselves. What expenditure items may appear when on vacation to Europe. We used a European sample because only this area was known to us. For other parts of the world, the calculations may be different.

Passport & Visa

For those who have never been abroad at all, the first item of expenditure is of course the cost of making a passport at the local immigration office. However, for those who already have it, now is the time to calculate the cost of making a visa. Europe now has a single-seat visa management system called the Schengen visa, which is valid in 25 countries. However, the visa arrangement still refers to the country to which it is intended for the first time or which will be occupied the longest. The final Schengen visa fee status is 60 euros.

Health Insurance

If we want to visit Europe for a while, there is usually an additional requirement in the form of health insurance. The fee varies according to the length of the visit.

Passport and visa costs have been calculated, now is the time to calculate travel expenses. Most important, of course, is the cost of round-trip air tickets from Indonesia to Europe. In order to get low prices, avoid traveling in busy seasons, such as summer holidays and Christmas. Ticket prices will soar.

Accommodation and Transportation

The ticket fee post has been calculated, following the lodging and transportation costs in the destination country. How long will we live in one city, how much will it cost to transport from a city in country A to a city in country B. Of course the numbers also vary. It depends on what class of lodging or means of transportation we choose, as well as the city or country where we live. The cost of staying per night in hostels is usually cheaper than hotels.

If you want to always take the executive train, you also provide a thicker pocket than regular trains. And the price of lodging and transportation in the Eastern European region is much cheaper compared to countries in Western Europe.

Shopping

The calculation of lodging and transportation costs is in order, it's time to calculate our shopping expenses at the destination. What we enter with shopping post is the cost of our meals, purchasing souvenirs and souvenirs, entrance fees for museums or entertainment venues. The amount also differs in each region.

Tourism information on the internet provides a lot of information about the prices of food in restaurants or other places to eat in a tourist destination city. Other costs may be adjusted according to their individual needs.
